How do women succeed in life insurance, and what percentage of women succeed?
If we look at the data, we can see that the number of women who enroll in life insurance is higher than the number of men. So, what’s the reason behind that? One of the main reasons is that many people buy insurance in their wives’ names. It’s referred to as a Surrogate. When someone purchases insurance in the name of their wife, sister, or other family members, it is not the women who are working, but the men are. However, if one of those ladies succeeds, we can assume that most of the ladies are succeeding because someone else is at work behind the scenes.
But, if we ignore this fact and focus on the women who have truly committed to making a living or a career in the field of life insurance, we can get into the deeper cause of it.
The first reason is that the men who have joined are tentative. They have something else to do, so they take it as a risk and say, “Let’s try it.” But when the ladies join, the majority of them who are housewives have nothing else to do. So this is their sole focus. Therefore, the main idea is ‘Focus’.
Second, there’s a very important aspect of psychology that we often overlook: Emotional Attachment. A woman can empathize with the loss of a wage earner more than a man. As a result, when they connect with a client, they connect on a more emotional level, which is why they can do better business because their emotional intelligence is higher than men’s.
As a result, women can enter this field because they can spare more time on it. A man can spare one to two hours per week, whereas a woman can spare 2-4 hours per day, and this can make all the difference. You can quickly switch from 2-4 hours per day to 6-8 hours per day, and this can lead to a successful career. They can earn more than the family’s primary wage earner, and the majority of the women do so eventually.
Many ladies have been members for many years. They first joined and began working, and then their husbands left their mainline businesses and joined them after some time.
So, welcome the power of women in the life insurance industry and embrace it.
